It's more than a daycare. The Bark Club was founded on the idea of integrated training and structure to keep your dog happy and healthy. We focus on your dog's socialization, confidence building, and obedience needs. It is a cage free environment, and instead of letting your dog run wild, we have created structured exercise and socialization activities to lessen their stress and improve their behavior. A well-trained dog needs focus, structure, and plenty of exercise. Our goal is to provide core training that will continue at home with you.
Our FacilityOur facility has an open floor plan, large indoor space and an outdoor exercise area. Dogs are separated by size and maturity. We have a dedicated puppy area where puppies can become curious and build confidence with socialization activities. We have a medium dog area and a separate large dog area for safety purposes.
Our StaffOur staff is trained in dog body language, CPR, and pet first aid.
Our Core Philosophy for Healthy Dog Activity
We've created packages based on different canine needs. Some dogs are better socialized than others, whereas some may need some special attention. These are our areas of primary focus:
Socialization & Confidence Building Activities: We are a cage free environment so your dog will be integrated into our existing pack at the club. Your dog will learn how to interact with other dogs and become more confident with the pack.
Structured Exercise: We don't let dogs run wild, this will stress them out. We have structured activities throughout the day. They also need to be able to relax, so there is some down time.
Basic Obedience Training: Basic obedience is a necessity with all dogs. We do this by maintaining pack leadership, teaching basic commands, strengthening the bond between dog and handler, and most importantly socialization with other dogs.
Things You Will Notice
Depending on what package you choose, after a week you will notice:
-Resting through the night from plenty of exercise
-Maintaining a healthy weight
-Less separation anxiety
-Less destructive behavior
-Listening to commands
-Positive playful behavior
-Improved socialization skills with other animals and people
Our experienced trainers are dedicated to help you and your dog. It's more than a daycare, it's integrated socialization and training that is necessary for a dog to live a healthy life as our companion.
All play and no rest can cause over stimulation. We do not recommend constant playing/exercise for 8 hours a day. This can over stimulate the dog and cause stress. We require breaks and resting periods.
